She has been from Turkey, Syria, Jordan, Morocco, Egypt, Iraq, and Qatar, to Sudan, South Sudan, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia, and South Africa. She has also spent long periods in north and south India, Nepal, south-east Asia, the US and Central America, Latin America, Europe, and the Caucuses.
